Materials you’ll Need:

Laura Heine “Shellie Snail Bowl” collage pattern
2. Foundation & Background
Pattern Ease or Pellon 830 — ½ to 1 yard
Background fabric — ½ yard (light or low-volume recommended)
3. Adhesives
Steam-A-Seam 2 (NOT Lite) — 4–5 yards
4. Fabrics
Bring a good mix of scraps, fat quarters, fat eighths, and fussy-cuttable prints.

For the Snail Body:

Browns, taupe, tans, grays
Small textures, dots, subtle prints
For the Shell:

Swirls, circles, spirals
Bright colors, tiny florals, textural prints
Blues, greens, purples, pinks, oranges
For Leaves & Accents:

Greens (light/medium/dark)

• Absolutely! Donna specializes in breaking down techniques for beginners. You’ll be guided step by step.
Is the pattern included in the class fee?
• No, the pattern is not included in the class fee.
Students must purchase the supplies separately. It is available for purchase at Donna’s Quilting Respite.
Do I get to keep the bowl I make?
• Yes! You’ll leave class with a completed bowl that you designed and made yourself.
Can I book with a friend?
• Definitely - classes are even more fun with friends! Group bookings are available.
